This Swedish “kladdkaka” is delicious and easy to make.
100ml neutral oil
100ml golden syrup
100ml plant-based milk
200ml flour
100ml cacao
150ml white sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp sea salt flakes
In a bowl, whisk together the oil, syrup and milk. In a separate bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. Add the flour mix to the milk mix and quickly blend together (do not overmix). In a (lined) baking dish, bake the cake for 25-30 minutes in 175 °C (fan). Serve with ice cream, custard or berries.
