Caramel Balls

Makes about 20

Perfect snack with your coffee break in the afternoon. Mild, sweet fudgy taste of dates, maca and mesquite. A healthy pickup for those last hours at work.

250ml hazelnuts
100ml sunflower seeds
50ml hempseeds
15 medjool dates
50ml maca powder
50ml carob powder
1 tbsp mesquite powder
½ tsp vanilla powder
A pinch of sea salt

(for coating)
1 tbsp maca powder
1 tbsp mesquite powder

In a food processor, mix together the ingredients until it sticks together. This can take several minutes, have patience! Let the mix cool in the fridge for about 30 minutes. In a bowl, mix together the maca and mesquite with a fork. Roll the mix into small balls and then roll them in the maca/mesquite mix. Store in the fridge.
